1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HookMint (hookmint.in), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

HookMint is an AI-powered hook and content generator for Indian creators and D2C brand founders. We generate short-form video hooks, captions, Reel scripts, and hashtags using the Anthropic API.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use HookMint.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

HookMint offers monthly (₹299/month) and annual (₹1,999/year) subscription plans, and a one-month pass (₹349). All payments are processed by Razorpay. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. The one-month pass does not auto-renew. All prices are in Indian Rupees and inclusive of applicable taxes.

5. Free Tier

We offer 3 free hook generations with no account required. Free-tier usage is tracked via cookies and device fingerprinting to enforce limits.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods.
• If you experience a technical issue preventing access, contact us at thehookmint@gmail.com within 7 days.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use HookMint to generate content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or violates third-party rights
• Attempt to circumvent free-tier limits through automated means
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy our prompts, outputs, or systems
• Resell or redistribute HookMint's outputs as a competing service

8. AI-Generated Content

HookMint uses the Anthropic API to generate content. We do not guarantee the accuracy, originality, or fitness of AI-generated outputs. You are solely responsible for reviewing and using any content generated by HookMint before publishing it.

9. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content you input into HookMint. You own the AI-generated outputs produced for your inputs. HookMint retains all rights to its platform, prompts, systems, and brand.

10. Instagram API

Where HookMint connects to Instagram via the Instagram Graph API, we access only the permissions you explicitly grant. You may revoke access at any time via your Instagram settings. We use Instagram data solely to provide the features you request.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

HookMint is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, specific results from generated content, or compatibility with all devices.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HookMint's liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
